Collards
As I mentioned before, our first produce delivery led us into our first attempt at a great southern tradition - Collard Greens. This was a first for both of us, and like most recipes we try, we ad-libed with what we had around. No ham hock laying around the fridge just waiting for your next batch of collards? A bit more about our CSAs
As I mentioned before, we are doing 2 different CSA’s this winter.  The first is produce from Bountiful Blessings Farm - www.bountifulblessingsfarm.com . They specialize in winter CSAs, which not many other farms around here venture into, much less specialize in. Last week we got a bonus starter delivery, but are very much looking forward to the full delivery we will be getting this week....

Let the local eating begin!
As a part of our adventure to begin eating locally, we are participating in two different CSA’s this winter. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture - essentially you are investing in a farm at the beginning of a season, and in return get weekly deliveries of whatever is coming off the farm that week.
